I fell directly on my right knee a week ago and have an abrasion on the knee and just below the knee it hurts really bad when anything touches it and it feels like it is being stretched. It is also swollen. Could it be broken? I have no trouble walking on it but it is very painful when touched, today i accidently bumped it and it hurt so bad i got faint from it.

If it was broken, I doubt you could walk on it...My best advice is to stay off of it...Bathe it with warm water...Water is the best healing agent for an open wound...If you feel faint, then sit down...If you think that this is more serious, then see the doctor...

Take care,
Caroline
