How old are your children?

Is this the only messy thing they do? How long has this been going on?

if i were you, i would install actual locks on the cupboards and fridge if possible.
like actual lock and key locks.
i think pad locks can be installed on fridges if you asked someone at a hard ware store, and the same goes for cupboards.
or the next time they do this, get them to clean up the mess.
one way or the other, they need to learn.
and we all know, no child likes to clean up the mess they make.

what time do they go to bed?
perhaps they need a later bed time so they are less likely to wake up and party all over the house.

Zig, the kids are 8, 6, 5 and 3. Yes they ae doing it every morning just about, yesterday and this morning. Same deal, eggs, fruit jelly and noodles all smashed in the room on the floor and over lounge chairs. Been going on since roughly Jan this year.

Proud, getting the kids to tidy up the mess does not deter them from doing it again, it worked the first couple of times that the had done it, now we are back to square one. We have been keeping them up till roughly 9pm lately if not later, but this is not helping, they stll get up early morning and do this stuff!!!!!
Might have to check out what locks we can put on the cupboards and fridge and see if it is going to stop all of this.

Thanks for your replies Smile
