Do you think it's ok for a 7 year old to carry there own bags.

Whenever I see the little girl next door walking to school or to a friends house to be taken to school she is always carrying her own bags and I find unfair because all the other 7 year olds have there bags carried for them.

my one and a half year old carries her own bag because she wants to. I remember being 5 or 6 and at primary school and wanting to carry my own bag because it made me feel grown up.There's nothing wrong with it.I'd personally be far more concerned if i saw the child crying not being consoled or falling over and not being picked up etc not over something as trivial as a bag

That's her point. You don't know much about this little girl - certainly not enough to worry so much about her in your spare time.

Physical and sexual abuse. Neglect. Starvation. Lack of a home or clothing. That's just a start. Many children in deprived countries never celebrate their birthdays. In fact, some religions don't believe in celebrating birthdays at all.

Why is it not okay? She had shoes on her feet. Many children are not that fortunate.

She has shoes on her feet. That's enough. She's not neglected or abused because she didn't have velcro shoes.

You should really ask yourself why you're so concerned with this little girl. You're acting kind of obsessed with her.
