I just got a call today about my 20 week ultrasound. I was informed that my daughter's kidneys are swollen and that her adrenal gland is prominent. Could these 2 individual factors be related? Also, what could be the cause of either. I read that prominent adrenal glands could be a sign of pre-term birth, is this true? The doctor didn't really tell me anything, except that they're sending me to a specialist. I have an appointment on the 7th but I don't want to wait until then to find out what's wrong with the baby!
