hi, i've just started dating someone who had a kidney transplant about 5 yrs ago. i have some questions but don't really want to bombard the person... can someone answer a few ques:
1. is it possible to keep the new kidney for the rest of life or will you eventually need another?
2. is life expectancy shorter?
3. what are the bumps (like big nodules) on arm from dialysis? do they eventually go away?
thanks
