I am 7 years post kidney transplant and have recently had a rejection epsiode. The doctors not only put me on high doses of predisone but weekly therapy of cytagam infusions. During this time my stomach problems started to get worse. I have been through multiple blood test, endiscopes and cultures. Three weeks ago the digestive specialist diagnosis me with insufficiences in my pancreas. He put me on enzymes and I thought it was helping. Any insight or information would be greatly appreciated. As of right now even with the medication water causes pain, nausea and acute diarrohea.

Your symptoms are more likely a result of the side effect associated with the immunosuppressives used for the anti-rejection therapy.

Since this is necessary to avoid losing the kidney, it would be better to tolerate the symptoms. But you should consult to get proper symptomatic control with a gastroenterologist.
