I had Lithotripsy done 2 weeks ago! I was in pain especially after the stent removal. I got anti inflammatory medication that helped a lot (diflofinac). Pain is gone but the bleeding is still there. From yesterday I feel the urge to pee every half an hour!! Checked at a walking clinic for possible infection but there was none! Anybody experienced the same?

After procedures on the urinary tract, it is common to have irritative symptoms like dysuria, urge to urinate, etc on and off for variable periods. This is due to the irritation of the sensory nerves supplying the bladder and urinary tract.

In most cases these symptoms subside on their own as the tissues heal. but this may take a while.

Continuing the use of NSAIDs like Diclofenac should help you manage your symptoms better.

I hope this helps.
