I would appreciate if some of you could take the time to read this,Thank you.

I have been getting UTI's quite frequently this year, maybe 4 in the last year and they take awhile to go away, usually go to Doctor straight after getting symptoms,go on a course of a week of antibiotics, and it seems to come back straight away.
Last week I went to the Doctor with pains in my sides, abdomen, back, neck and head..fevers and sweats aswell as chills and shivers, the Doctor thought it was the start of a flu but a few days later my temperature rocketed to 104 degrees celsius, about 39 fahrenheit and I went to another Doctor, she decided it was a kidney infection or UTI,even though my syptoms were very different to my usual ones i.e urinating frequently,a little pain in one side. She put me on augmentum and told me to come back the following day. I didn't respond to these anti biotics and had to go to hospital where I got blood tests,a chest scan etc... but was out after one night and put on penicilin for just four days,I felt better immediately.
However, even though I am feeling 100%,my sides still hurt a good bit,and under my rib cage is very sore, even when just touched lightly...I'm wondering if there are underlying problems? I am awaiting an appointment in the hospital for a kidney scan the Consultant recommended but I'm curious if these symptoms point to anything.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.Smile

Extremely eHealthy
It seems like the doctor suspected that the urinary infection has spread further affecting your kidneys.
Kidney infection can be manifested with frequent urination, abdominal pain or pressure, back, side (flank) or groin pain, fever, shaking chills, night sweats, extreme fatigue, nausea or vomiting.

You should go through further exams!
