Hello everyone well Im at the time in my life when Im suppose too be enjoying life with my wife but Im still hooked on sub,ive taken it maybe for three months now and take an average of 2-3 mg a day,I was hurt at work in 1997 and was put on Vicodein then perks then I was referred to a pain care clinic where they put me on Oxycontin, well I was taking about 240mg a day not for pain but too feed my addiction,so I decided to kick it and went too the methadone clinic,BIG mistake I was on 150mg a day liquid, the cost is outrageous I was on methadone for 5 years then decided it was my marriage or the drug so I started my own detox,it took me one year to get down too 20mg at which I jumped.I never slept for 7 days straight and then I found sub,now is the time for me and if anyone has any suggestions on helping me kick this and am I gonna have as much pain and withdarwls as the methadone because it was pure hell...Help im desperate. Shocked

Not so bad:
Well ive taken myslf down too like 1mg a day its hard to split the pills so the quarters i get like 5 peices out of and I do 1 peice in the morning and 1 before bed so far no changes in mood or anything,im always lathagic and I think i will remain that way until I rid my body of all the opiates then a couple years after that, this is really a challange but so far the methadone was really the worst for me i got deathly ill everytime I decreased my dose but I have not had methadone sence october of last year next month will be one year.Im going to stay where Im at for awhile then I am going to try and stop the morning dose when I feel ive adjusted too everything ok,Im really glad ive never taken myself over 2mg of sub a day I think thats really a big thing keeping your dose low so you dont have too rid your body of so much poison.Well Im not so desperate anymore either I feel pretty good, myself and my wife are going too a pay lake tomorrow to spend the day and fish trying too get more active the sun really makes me sweat alot more than usual plus I take water pills everyday too keep water out from around my lungs,I have a question for those reading this and just let me know your feelings on it either way..Do you beleive (addicts) are born addicts?

Concert:
Myself and my wife went too a concert at Riverbend in Cincinatti,Ohio Journey-Cheap Trick and Heart it was a pretty awsome show except i was kinda dissapointed in Cheap Tricks performance its not that they were bad its that the other two bands blew them away and I mean Heart did a whole lot better than I had expected. We took our 3 year old Grandaughter, her first concert at 3 and she stole the show danced all night and we really had a blast with her she makes mine and my wifes lives so much happier, right now her mom which is my daughter stay with me and my daughters bf Marissas daddy, soon they will get a place and ill have to go get my baby everyday cus i need her everyday lol and she needs me she is with me 80% of the time sence I am on disability doen ok on the taper sleep is begining to be a problem but Im hopen so much its not gonna be like the methadone./If ya stop in at least say hey to me:-)

Hi... Was hoping to see that you had made the last part of this, I don't think people are born that way... sometimes it is out of their control.

Sometimes stupidity.. want...need.. yearning for something in their life. It is something I have thought about and no...life has different paths....Just a shame that it isn't more widely advertised that by being prescribed painkillers etc from your gp with whom you trust can become addictive. Not a nice journey... good luck.

Kicking sub addiction
The only way to kick this habit is you need to restore your body to a healthier level. You can only do that by adding the proper nutients to it. I can help you do that if you are truly serious about making that happen. Let me know if you want me to help you further.
