Don't be concerned, I just had one done yesterday and have the same incisions as you. As it was explained to me by my surgeon, the incision made in the belly button is for the camera used to locate the appendix, the other two for the instruments used to secure then remove the infected appendix. From my understanding, when done laparscopically as we had, the scarring and recovery are much better than the single incision appendectomy which could leave a nasty 4 inch scar across the abdomen. i had mine out on 8th january i have 3 scars and also an infection still the scars are normale 3 of them wat u gotta watch out for is when u feel cold and ur body is hot go straight back to the hospital i had a temp of 39.8 the day i left hospital and i end up back in for another 2 days infections are common with alot of opperations .. 1 thing i wanna know is do they stitch u up cause im still pulling stitches out lil white things like fishing line is that normal
