My sister was given the wrong medication by her pharmasist ( Keppra ) she does not have epilepsy. He thought he had given her naproxen for the arthritis. She had take 500mg a day for the past 5 days. She called this morning to ask him if the meds were a new generic, this is when he told her to call her Dr and what had happened. She is depressed, not sleeping , hear races and said she thought about blowing her brains out she felt so bad. What kind of damage can this cause?

Im not sure but my son takes Keppra and it can cause depression. I was told if he misses a dose or if someone took it that didn't need it, it would cause more seizures.
