i was diagnose with JRA at age 12 in my left knee. They gave me a cortizone shot and i never had real bad problems since. The swolleness came back at around 16 but not really any signigicant pain. At 16 my left leg began to have surface numbness and then so did the right. I did MRI's and i have inflammation on my brain and spine. However, drs dont want to say MS because my case isnt severe enough. I am now almost 19 and the numbness had gone away for almost 3 years. I began to have some knee pain about a month ago but it had stopped and Now my left foot feels numb again. Could my arthritis be causing this numbness?

I also have Psoriasis, vitiligo, and eczama if that could change any circumstances.

Peripheral Neuropathy or damage to the peripheral nervous system, consisting of nerves that spread from the brain and spinal cord to different parts of the body, is usually manifested with pain and numbness in the affected body parts.
It is a side effect or complication of rheumatoid arthritis.
Treating and controlling the underlying condition, will make peripheral neuropathy symptoms to cease.
