Jogging after a hip replacement.. Has anyone done jogging after a hip replacement? I had my hip replaced about 6 weeks ago and want to start jogging again. I was jogging about 60 miles a week before hand and miss it a great deal. Also any suggestion for the best sshoes to take the shock.

Does your doctor advised you to do jogging? I guess not.. Even though it was 6 weeks ago, jogging and other high impact activities should be avoided by people who undergo hip replacement, or even other surgery. You can try swimming, bicycling or just walking.
