Q: Jelly sensation through legs
asked by: DoctorQuestion on October 6th, 2009
I've had a jelly like sensation through my legs for about 2 years on and off and now it is constant. In my arms too and my finger tips. Is this anxiety or could it possibly be something else?

Anxiety was triggered off 2 years ago when something traumatic happened, at least that's what I think.

Hi
Welcome to the forum!
Well generally a feeling of jelly like legs is due to anxiety and stress. This has now also spread to your arms. Either you are too stressed out now or you have some medical problem.
These symptoms can also be seen in hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) and in low blood pressure. If you miss meals or eat irregularly, there is a chance you have hypoglycemia. Just check these two possibilities with your PCP.
You can try meditation, yoga and deep breathing exercises to lower your stress. Please discuss this with your doctor as a diagnosis cannot be given on net. Hope this helps. Take care!
