Hi,

I got a chemical burn on my nose that has scabbed over all of the underside and tip. It's sore and weeping/scabbing. It's now 4 days old. I'm on Flucloxacillin to prevent infection (500mg, 4x per day).

My nodes (under jaw, on each side) are swollen and tender. Is this just a normal reaction to the burning and general trauma, or does this mean there is an infection not being effectively stopped by the antibiotics?

Thanks for any advice.
Tom
