I had dental work done almost three weeks ago. Bridge work and cavity filled(left side-lower). My jaw has been hurting me since then, can't open mouth wide, pain on left side. I also have slight numbness in same side(left side)in chin and lip. It feels like I just had the work done and the novacaine is starting to wear, rubery feeling. I went to the oral surgeon today and he said my jaw muscle is in spasm. Has anyone ever had numbness in chin/lip with tmj disorder, is that a normal symptoms with tmj?
