My right jaw has been hurting for 3 weeks now. I put a piece of gum in my mouth and as soon as I started to chew... my jaw starting hurting really bad. I didn't hear a popping/cracking sound but, now it pops when I open my mouth wide. It also hurts soooooo much when I eat (it also hurts when I'm not doing anything). I have headaches and earaches that I think are from my jaw pain. Do I need to see a doctor or dentist for this?

Jaw pain can cause a variety of symptoms including headache, eye pain, ear pain, etc. Many times the dysfunction comes from the surrounding muscles of the joint. Either they become too tight or even strained. You can try seeing a dentist or TMJ specialist. Chiropractors are also very effective in treating people with TMJ issues.
