i had a total hysterectomy 2 weeks ago and my iv site in my arm still hurts and today i have a very warm feeling in the vein that it was in should i be concerned that this is a blot clot and is it dangerous

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
It could be thrombosis (blood clot) or thrombophlebitis (infection associated with blood clot). Do not press or massage the area. Revisit your treating doctor for a check, you might need anticoagulant ointments to help with it if it is due to blood clot. You might also need antibiotic cover to treat infection if present.
