I've had Skyla placed for about 8 months now. It's had it's pros and cons, but I'm starting to feel like the cons are outweighing the pros, and I think I'm going to try the pill once again.
The only thing stopping me is the uncertainty of the removal process. I've read a lot of acticles that say getting an IUD removed is virtually painless, but I would feel more comfortable reading actual experiences from other ladies.

Any insight on the process, pain level, and outcome would be great!
Did it hurt? Did it take a long time? How soon did you get your period after? How heavy?

I know everyone's body reacts differently, just want to get an idea of what could happen to me should I actually go forward with getting it removed! Thanks!
