Q: IUD and pink bleeding

hi my name is sam im 22 and married and have a boy. i have had an iud since valentines day until now. my last period was from august 28- sept 3 2008. i usually get it at the end of the month now its october 15 and still didnt get my period about two weeks ago i peed and on my underwear was bright pink but it wasnt my period and lately i have been stressing over my husband and have a tummy ache and mostly tired and always hungry also have back pain but i have no clue if i am pregnant i took a pregnancy test last week but it was negative, maybe it was too soon to take 1 should i wait and take another on saturday or wait longer i have symptoms of pregnancy but dont know if i am pregnant they say even though i have an iud i can still be pregnant so i dont know what to do can u please help thanks alot!!!!

Is the IUD still inserted?

yes i still have the iud inserted but i dont want to become pregnant now i want to raise my son first then get pregnant but if i am pregnant i will keep it although my husband loves kids he is the 1 who wants me to become pregnant and if i am i would remove the iud but im not sure if i am when would u think i take another test please help thank u!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I suggest that you take another test. And if you still suspect pregnancy, talk to your GYN and perhaps request a blood based pregnancy test.

hey how r ya good i hope yea while i was with the doctor i was not pregnant but the reason y i had this situation was b cuz it was the mirena iud for 5 years which means less period well thanx alot guys for the comments hope to here from u soon and i did get my period i got it the 23rd i just finished 2 days agothanx again for ur thoughts
