For the last 4 days the vestibule area surrounding my urethral and vaginal openings have been itchy. My mom believes in natural healing and told me to put vinegar on it. The vinegar has helped somewhat with the itchiness however, it persists. I am a virgin. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Congratulations on using the correct terminology Wink it is great to see that you did dome homework to learn the proper names.

It is normally from dryness, heat or an infection. Do you have a strange discharge as well?

Remember to wash between your lips and under the clitoris hood with plain clean water (lukewarm) and your fingers, not with soap. You can use a moisturizing soap on your outer lips, but keep the soap away from the slit (Cleft of Venus

Keep yourself dry, cool and airy. No tight or warm pants, cotton panties when you do wear panties. Go without when it is safe to do so, for example when you sleep. Make sure all the soap residue is rinsed out of your panties and do not use fabric softener on it.

Don't sit around in wet pants (if it is summer where you are and you swim). Pat yourself dry as soon as possible.

Evaluate everything that touches your vulva for allergies or reactions, even pads and panty liners.

Ask your mom about yogurt to restore the yeast balance. She should know. If she does not, ask again here or research it yourself.

Take care!
