Okay, so My husband had what seemed to be peeling skin under his foreskin which is not slightly red, he says it itches, and after we had sex about 3 days ago, I started to itch, really bad, I called my doctor and she gave me a pill for a yeast infection, but I didn''t see her, she just called it into the pharmacy. I am now very itchy, it burns a little, inside feels swollen. I''m not sure what it is, neither of us has had any other sexual pertners in the last 5 years, so what could it be? I also do not have any unusual discharge, but I do have kind of a metallic/slightly fishy odor. Please help

I would ask to be seen by your doctor, an actual visit. A yeast infection does fit your symptoms (not all women who get yeast infections get the accompanying cottage-cheese discharge). It could also be bacterial vaginosis (you mentioned a slightly fishy smell), which will not be cured by a yeast infection medication. The only way to know what you have for sure is to get examined.
By the way, for all those who are unaware, if you have a yeast infection, you can give it to your partner and vice versa. If one has a yeast infection, the partner should also get treated or you should abstain from sex until it clears up. Monistat cream (CREAM, not the suppositories) works fine on the penis as well as the vagina for a yeast infection.
