Q: Itchy upper lip from oral sex

He is reluctant to give me a lot of details, but basically I know that after giving me oral sex he has had a sensitive upper lip.

I just found out that he went to the doctor about it and was prescribed a cream for a 'bacterial' infection.

I didn't get any more information from him, but I'm wondering what exactly is going on. I did have thrush fairly recently - could it be this? I thought that would occur inside the mouth, not outside on the lip.

Also, after having been tested for STDs recently I was told that there were 'traces' of bacterial vaginosis - but seeing as though I have no symptoms, (and didn't have any previously) I didn't need treatment.

Can someone help out?
