Welcome to e health forum.

It is more likely that the itchy bumps in your perineal skin can be due to folliculitis, which is a superficial infection of the hair follicles characterized by erythematous, follicular-based ‎papules and pustules. ‎

You can apply cold packs to the affected area and it should reduce the redness and soreness. In ‎‎addition Ibuprofen (Advil or Motrin) can be taken for a few days, that will relieve symptoms sooner. ‎

In case, they are much severe and occur much frequently, you can consult your doctor for a prescription of topical antibiotics, which can help in preventing or clearing such infections in future.
