Hi,

I have been suffering from skin allergy for very long time. My problems are

a. when any hard surface or someone rubs my skin it gets swollen. It only happens when any contact is made to the skin. even if i play with a child then i feel rashy and itchy skin throughout the body.

b. very itchy feeling in my groin region, back side of waist and around armpit. This itching is very annoying. Also I m feeling very itchy in my palm of both hands and legs.

I went to several dermatologists and taken different tables (usually anti histamines). But when i take tablet the itchy feeling is not there but still my skin is swollen if any contact is made. If I take stopping tablets for 3 days then again the itchy feeling starts.

Now I am going to a dermatologist who diagnosed it as Urticaria and been taking tablets for past 3 months. But still the condition is same. As long as I am taking the tablets i m not getting the itchy feeling (but still getting hives).

This time when I went to the doctor he said the itchy feeling could be becasue of some other fungus. (though i dont have any worm in my groin and other regions now. I had worm very long time ago and it is cured). This time he prescribed for anti fungal tablets and a cream to apply on the itchy part of my body.

SO I think the doctors got confused because I have both hives and itching problem and till this time they have been prescribing for only treating hives and not for itching problem.

With the body parts that I have been facing this itching I can find it closely relates to the symptoms of Scabies.

I would like to know:

If it is because of scabies or any other micro-insects or fungal, can it be cured? And this kind of fungus can live in the body for a very long time ( i m having this for more than 8 years). How about the treatment for this?

How about the treatment for Urticaria (hives). The doctor who is currently treating me suggest I shoule be allergic to some food that I am not aware of it. So I have to take a note of the food items that I am taking in and find which one casues this allery. Is Urticaria be cured if we stop taking some allergic foods?

Thanks

Arun
