Hi - so I've had a red inner labia (only on the right side) since the beginning of February or so. It started to itch really bad, was painful, and had some large amounts of normal discharge plus slight vaginal bleeding (not my period!). I went to the gyno and she tested me for STDs (chlamydia, gonnorhea, syphilis, HIV all negative) but then I tested positive for yeast. I also had a very high ANA titer at the time.
In the meantime, I started to feel like I had a urinary tract infection. Both of these have been happening off and on (not always at the same time), and I was treated for a yeast infection but the redness and occasional slight itch won't go away - I'm also being treated with Cefuroxime for a urinary tract infection and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. I've been drinking cranberry juice and not using irritants like deodorant soap etc, but these things are still sticking around. I'm sexually active and this has only been going on since I started sleeping with my current boyfriend. Help?

when i had a urinary track infection i took cranberry pills and i was fine.
if you have an itch related to a yeast infection they have OTC yeast infection meds with the itch cream.
i remember i had a bad itch for weeks and i thought it was yeast inf. and i found out it was trigg.
another thing you might want to consider is when i was having sex without a condom i would get yeast infections, bacterial infections. when i was with my ex for almost 5 years when used condoms all the time and for 5 years i never had a yeast infection or anything else.
