Q: itchy red and sore

since two days ago my vagina is itchy red and sore. also burns.
havnt had sex in a year. and im also on the pill.
help?

You may possibly have thrush which is a yeast infection. It is extremely uncomfortable and can be treated with pessaries or cream, also with tablets. This is one simple explanation, but there could be other causes which makes it worthwhile seeking medical advice. If it is thrush, then you will recognise it in the future and will then be able to self-treat.
