Q: Itchy rash that spreads slowly daily

I have a rash that started as a small itchy area on both arms. That was three weeks ago, it has now migrated up my entire arm and now my face is affected. My ears are also hot and itchy along with the tip of my nose. It is excruciatingly annoying. I was given prednisone but it is NOT working. What is it and how can I get rid of it? Soon!
