Hi
I have a mole on my lower back, which I have never felt before (but can now as it seems raised) and it is quite itchy..
I saw a doctor about it and he just had a quick look at it and said it was benign..
Just wondering whether I should get it looked at properly, or whether im overreacting,. Rolling Eyes

thanks

If it is quite itchy you may want to be safe and get a second opinion. Usually if a mole is itchy or changes colors they will remove it to do a biopsy. Make sure you tell the doctor that it is itchy and has changed color/form. Let the doctor know that you would feel more comfortable having it removed for biopsy.

I agree with wendyrs..Did you notie when the mole on back began to itch? DId you get a bug bite near it and scratch the area? A second opinion is best and will put your mind at ease..
