Please Help! I had itchy little red bumps on my right middle finger just above the finger nail surrounded by patches of dry skin(only in sections on that one finger the rest of my hands were fine)...very itchy....over months its spread up my finger. It then turned painfully dry and began to crack deep cracks in my finger. I got 2 smaller areas of thse same symptoms on my left ring finger. I recieved laser treatment that helped the cracks heal and kept the inflamation to a minimum. Areas are still itchy and miscolored. Suddenly itchy bumps are appearing on my face. they are burning when i wash my face and when i get flushed. i also have areas of dry skin just like what appeared on my two fingers. on my face it is concentrated in areas around my eyes and a small section under my lip. I thought i may have allergies: i took off my acrylic nails, stop using nail polish, stopped scented lotion, changed hands soap. Try anti-itch cream, hydro-cortisone. I cant laser my face thats all that is working on my fingers. What can I do What is this? This is so irritating?

P.S just as medical history I have had within the last year a big problem with all over water retention, polycistic ovarian syndrome, very high testosterone level, chronic fatigue and chronic joint and muscle pain, mild anxiety and depression, and inability to concentrate and forgetfulness I have swelling in my hands, legs and face, and hair falling out. These symptoms have not yet been taken care of because i was in the middle of tons of blood work and other tests and then i lost my health insurance...I was on my way to an endo and a rhuematologist, the rash on my fingers had been mentioned to my doctor......i am 22 years old and i feel like im falling apart physically and now the unsightly rash has spread to my face...its hard to put on a happy smile

I am not a hypochondriact type of person but i just keep getting one symptonm after another

Hi oneoftwodolls,

Go have a dermatologist take a look at it.

Good Luck
