Q: Itchy bumps on back of hands

I have small, itchy bumpson the back of my hands and they have been there fora couple of months now. I dont know what to do with them.

Please go see a dermatologist..is the itching between the fingers as well, palms of hands? You may need to use a thick hand cream or even lard to close off air getting to places..If there is a bed bug type involvement lard would cut off air supply..

It could be bug bites, but since you've had them a couple months, I think eczema is a more likely culprit. This something that usually occurs because of an allergy to a soap you are using or something you came into contact with, or even that you have dry hands.

There are special creams for eczema. You can try lotions too, or an OTC cortisone cream.

Going to a dermatologist or GP isn't a bad idea either if you'd like to try that too. He may be able to recommend or prescribe a better treatment.
