These itchy bumps look like insect bites,
but they cant be. No mosquitos, fleas, or
spiders. And they dont look like scabies
or bed bugs. I have been getting a couple
more each day for about 5 days. What is
it?
The first one was on my leg, then my
stomach, but all the rest have been around
my armpits, like shoulder, upper arm, etc.
At first they itch bad and kinda swell
and get red. Then about 12 hours later
they are just a little red bump that
itches only a little, but doesnt go away.
They are not in clusters, just here and
there.
I have been putting calendula/plantain
salve on them and this makes the itching
go away a little bit....
What is this?

I was doing some research online and found
your post. I am curious if you ever found
out what this was? I have a very similar
problem. I did find a chigger/red bug in
my bed about 3 weeks ago but since then
have washed everything (in bleach and hot
water) numerous times as well as used a
treatment that is really for scabies just
in case...And the new bumps still keep
appearing. I go back to the doctor this
week but i'm looking for answers online as
well. Thanks!

I too am noticing this...Armpits...And
behind my knees...I'm scared it's scabies
but so far it doen't feel as extreme as
scabies (i had them when I was younger and
it was awful), these feel more like bites
that itch individually as opposed to a
whole area and they also hurt a bit....And
hot water doesn't help!...Which made me
think scabies! As did the
locations...Any help?...Is there a scabies
forum I can go to?...Or a place I can
start one to ask questions? Thanks
