Q: Itching everywhere on body

For the past few weeks I have been itching everywhere...arms, legs, even my forehead! Last night I was sitting down and the crack of my buttocks was itching. I scratched it quite a lot, and I went to look in the mirror because it hurt and there is a red scrape, and one little bump next to it. The bump is not painful but the scrape is. This scrape has happened before, in the exact same place. I do not know if the itching and the scrape are connected...but they're both driving me crazy! I don't mind going to the doctor but I would like to see if it's just something that can be helped at home.

You I've been think that I might have those...but I wonder why I have a scrape there? I did scratch where the scrape is but I didn't think I scratched THAT hard...hopefully it's nothing serious! Thanks Smile

preparation h is great for that type of itch and if its a hemarroid it will shrink it for you.Its a very common problem and if you have been constipated its the culprit for getting one.
Ive scrapped mine without realising as the itch is terrible you don,t realise you have done it.
i can get red tram lines on the outer of both cheeks with itching.

The area above and around your buttocks is a very sensitive area. You could be allergic to some type of new soap or detergent. That is also a popular area for a herpes break-out, not saying that is what you have but it could be anything from skin irritation to something else. If it gets any worse I would show it to a doctor.
