Q: itching around anus

since i was pregnant on my first child i started to get extremely itchy around the anus (especially a few hrs before i have to go toilet) but let it go and just put it down to the pregnancy but he is almost 4 now and the problem is still there.....i have been to the doctor and have been tested for worms and all that and they all came back negative.....is there anybody out there with a solution cause it's driving me mad

Do you have any other red spots on you body thats itchy? It could be that you have a iodine shortage.

hello and welcome im not sure why you itch but i know i do when my hemaroids play up did you suffer them in your pregnancy 4 yrs ago. have you ever been checked for an anal abcess? just a thought as this too can cause itching as i was checked for that too.
i would still try hemarroid cream as it was great for my itch itself.
