Q: Itching after oral sex

i couldnt have sex with my boyfriend becuase it was just so wierd to when i am on my period. i gave him oral sex but he says that the next day he started to hurt and then he felt an itchy feeling in his balls. what could be wrong? did i do something wrong? keep in mind that this is not the first time i have done this to him.
