I am so worried now. My questions are: 1.
why does my SGPT increase even though I
already stopped isotane? This is my 4th
month of liver rest.
2. Is it okay to have workout for people
with fatty liver? I am analyzing my
situation, my SGPT is increased so that
means my liver is inflammed. Is it not
okay if I am having a gym workout? Some
exercise require abdominal compression
like sit ups. Pls correct me if I am
having confusion.
3. Is it okay for me to take Mega mass
4000-a supplement for people having
workout. Will my liver be damaged further
if I take?
Thank you in advance! I look for an
immediate reply..I am really worried..
:(
Raised liver enzymes (SGOT and SGPT),
increased blood fats, and fatty liver are
common side effects from Isotane
(isotretinoin). Therapy with Isotane
usually lasts for 4-6 months. Therapeutic
effects can be present even after stopping
the treatment but, unfortunately, the same
stands for the side effects too.
I think that people with a damaged liver
(raised enzymes and fatty liver) should
not have an excessive workout. They should
also avoid amino acids and protein
supplements like “Mega mass 4000”
because high protein intake stresses the
liver.
You should have regular check-ups of the
liver enzymes completed.
