Hi--
I'm having the strangest effects while on this drug. My lymphocytes are lowering, which is not normal. I woke up with a very very sore and red eye that seems receded in the socket, it is very bad and painful and weeping a lot of clear fluid. It's as though an abscess behind the eye or in the conjuctiva has ruptured and isjust weeping. Per a gallium scan, I have significant uptake in the lacrimal glands and the center of that eye, and sinuses and neck and other places, much like a sarcoidosis type picture, but was diagnosed with possible lymphoma or sjogrens syndrome. Since I don't have the symptom of lymphoma and I have so many lit up lymph nodes and areas that it is impossible to biopsy them all, we are on a wait and see kind of thing. actually, both eyes in the center are lit bright and it really looks like sarcoidosis, but the blood work doesn't support it. I asked if maybe all the inflammation in these ares, where I also have problems and pain, could be TB, they say no, just sjogrens. But I lack the SS-A and SS-B autoantibodies yet test very positive for latent TB at least. Anyway, i don't know whether the eye and the lowered lymphocytes are related to the Isoniazid. Not sure what to do, except to get to the eye doc right away because it's killing me. Thanks for listening and any help would be really appreciate.
