From what i understand,no. I was diagnosed with latent TB and I was approved to work in a day care setting as long as I did not have active TB; in other words my doctor verified that I do not have any current symptoms. I did decide to start inh treatment to prevent active TB in the future. I am hoping that it was the correct thing to do!
