I have had pain and tenderness in my upper jaw, on both sides, on and off for the past month or so. I was wondering if this could be my wisdom teeth coming in; I am 24 years old? Also, I have no space behind my last molars before the jaw comes together. Would this prevent my wisdom teeth from coming in properly?

I had issues with this as well and I still am (since June =( ) I went to my dentist and they said it could be my wisdom teeth, but they thought maybe I was clinching my teeth at night, etc. I went to an oral surgeon, and they did not think it was wisdom teeth and told me I may have TMJ. After months of pain, I went to another dentist because I tried the mouth guard thing and it was not working. This dentist said that the only thing it could be was my wisdom teeth. I have another appointment with them this Friday to get my teeth cleaned and more x-rays so we will find out, hopefully! I know this really doesn't help, but if you do clinch or grind your teeth at night, it could be TMJ, but unfortunately, there is not a lot you can do when you haev this except take IB profein for the pain. Look this up and see if you have more symptoms.
