Recently, (for the last 6 months or so) I
have had the following symptoms: pins and
needles and "electricity" running up and
down my legs, tingling of feet that
sometimes goes up to my scalp, spasms in
my arm and leg, tremors of my hands,
fatigue (I have to rest during the day
for a bit so I can keep going throughout
the day), muscle stiffness (my muscles
from my neck down to lower back are very
tight n stiff), hard time standing still
because my right leg feels very wobbly,
lack of balance (sometimes), sometimes my
leg gives out, constipation (although has
been getting better), inability to fully
empty my bladder sometimes, when my neck
is is bent forward i feel heat going down
my spine, my thighs get hot (lasts about 5
minutes), headaches (everyday for past 2
weeks so far),and alot of times my leg
feels pulled as if I ran 50 miles
meanwhile in reality I haven't done
anything strenuous. This past week I
noticed that when I read the area around
the words gets shiny and words get a
little blurred. I think my vision is
decreasing (not a serious amount but I
notice small differences.) The pins and
needles,electricity,tingling,and spasms
have been going on since about
Dec/January, and the
tremors,fatigue,muscle
stiffness,balance,leg,inability to fully
empty bladder, heat down spine and heat of
thighs have been happening since late
March. All these symptoms have not stopped
and I was wondering if I had MS so i went
to a neurologist. He sent me for an MRI
(which came back clear) and sent me for
bloodwork but I haven't gotten the results
yet. I'm going to go for a second opinion
but I was wondering if (from people who
have MS) if these symptoms sounded like
MS. If anyone can help me it would be
greatly appreciated, thank you.
Some of your symptoms "sound" like
multiple sclerosis (MS) but you are
missing episodic occurrence and
disappearance of each symptom. Your
symptoms are either constant or change
very quickly. Do you remember to anything
similar happened to you in the past?
Did you visit an ophthalmologist? Optic
neuritis is typical for MS.
Did neurologist propose you evoked
potentials-test and spinal tap?

Hi la817, I have very similar symptomps to
you, "electricity", tired legs, heat down
my spine etc. My MRI came clear too and
now I am waiting for EMG. Realy would like
to know what is happening to you. Have you
developed any new symptoms? Do you know by
now what it is you have? Would be nice to
exchange e-mails and talk more.
