HI, my husband and i have been TTC since december 08 and in the past months i have really just been concentrating on conceiving vs having enjoyment with my husband. My cycles were pretty regular Jan 7th, Fb 8th, March 9th then April 14th and May 14th, and well yesterday June 10th i had some light spotting.
The past week or so i have been having bad headaches, back aches, loss of appetite, noxious but not "sick",slightly tender and swollen breasts, gained like 2lbs, nasal congestion(only when i 1st wake up) and pretty mood swingish.
Majority of those i know are PMS signs but this cycle is just different all together physically and emotionally.
My husband and i had intercourse everyday May 17th-June 7th due to having 28-30day cycles so we put them together to up our risks.
On june 9th i had light brown/pink discharge but then yesterday it was darker brown and then began spotting of and on all day. But at night i basically filled a "light" tampon and it was dark colored. TMI sorry, i need all opinions i can get plz!!
*i already have a lil boy but i didnt have symptoms till about 7wks*
Sry its a book but didnt want to leave anything out, thank you for helping me!!!

I believe it’s neither implantation nor an early period. To my understanding if your period is on an approximate 28-day cycle, and began on May 14th last month, you most likely ovulated between May 23-27 and implantation would have occurred a few days afterward from May 26-30. Your period would then be due on June 10th. So your period has probably started with heavy spotting and may get heavier into normal flow, unless it's just a very light period. Menstruation fluctuates with stress, travel, medications, etc. You may also be experiencing intense PMS, as it can change as we age.

I'm finally trying to get pregnant after several back surgeries…yay! I used ovulation predictor sticks for the first time last cycle and it gave me the ovulation time within 24-36 hours, based on the LH (hormone) level in your urine. In the US, you can purchase them at any drugstore (by the pregnancy tests). What's good about that is if you have an "off day" ovulation, you will detect it better than counting days.

Good luck and don’t hesitate to ask me anything thing else. Maybe I can even ask you something along the way in our great adventure. Smile

hi mabeyta,
It could very well be implantation bleeding. I had that 2 days before I was suppose to start with my last pregnancy. It was brown and watery. I also had symptoms(thought it was pms)a week before it was due and 2 days after I spotted,I took a home pregnancy test and it was positive. I have 3 children and all 3 of them were different. I wish you both good luck on concieving.

Hey mabeyta! I was mistaken when I said that implantation happens several days after ovulation. I got stupidly confused (been sick). I looked at my notes and the OBGYN said several days for the cells to split (zygote), then they travel to the uterus implanting after another 4-11 days (7-14 day total after conception). But in general, if your bleeding was more than a spot or two and is on your due date, you're probably not pregnant. But I hope you are, of course!!! Smile

Just yesterday, only hours after typing to you, I had a very small amount of brownish blood...and that's all. I looked at my ovulation calendar and this would be 11 days after I ovulated - exactly around the time it should implant if conception occurred. I was sooooo not expecting that, because less than 1 out of 3 women get the tiny spotting. Perhaps, it's just my period coming early. But one can hope.

Good luck and baby dust to you!
