I have been SUFFERING with chronic dizziness for about a year now. It used to come in spells, but in the last 6 months it has been ever day. All day.
I have been checked out by a neurologist, and and ENT. I've had an MRI, EKG, all that stuff. I'm in perfect health.
My regular doctor convinced me that it is anxiety so she put me on Celexa. That was a complete nightmare and it made the dizziness worse. And I wanted to die when I decided to go off it. It was horrible.
As a last hope effort, I drove for 5 hours to see a vertigo specialist in Denver. He also believes it's an anxiety disorder. He prescribed Klonopin. I've been taking it for two days and no change in the dizziness that I can tell. I've just been midly dizzy for the last few days. I just feel very drugged and tired when I'm on it.
Has anyone ever experienced anything like this? I've been looking for answers for over a year. I'm 28 years old and I have children. I feel like my life has been robbed and so has my kids. Thank you for reading.
