Is this a sign of an STD or am I just paranoid and anxious?

So, about a month ago I had protected sex (anal and vaginal) and oral sex with a guy I know. (The same guy I had written about before) We had dated for awhile but never slept together until this one night that we both got pretty drunk. That was the one and only time we had sex and I haven’t had sex with anyone else since I last got checked for STD’s. I don’t normally have sex because I am so paranoid about STD’s and I feel guilty afterward. So, after we had had sex, I started panicking that I had an STD. I was most concerned about HSV2 because I know that there is no cure for it. One of my close friends has HSV2 so I think that may be why it automatically comes into my mind. So, for three weeks I was stressing about this. I was stressing so bad that my stomach was all messed up. I couldn’t eat without feeling nauseas and I was constipated. Basically, my whole digestive system got messed up. I also had muscle aches all over my body – my arms, legs, middle back, shoulders, feet and sides.

Well, I went to Planned Parenthood and got tested for HIV, HSV2, Chlymidia and Gonnhorea and they all came back negative. I got tested about a week after having sex with this guy and I read that that may be too early for the testing to be accurate? Well, for the three weeks that I was under intense stress I would look at myself down there with a mirror to check for any signs of redness or lesions. I would do this more or less 5 times a day for three weeks straight. Then I read online that a symptom of herpes is that your groin lymph nodes swell. So, one night I spread my legs and I was pushing down on where I thought my groin lymph nodes were (in my groin and on my underwear line) to see if they were swollen. I may have pushed and prodded at them too much because the next day the right side of my groin and my lower abdomen was swollen and tender when I walked. That day I babysit three children allll day long so I was constantly running around, running up and down stairs, and bending down to pick them up. So, it was painful that day. About a week before that I had pulled my right quadriceps muscle by bending down and pushing up on that leg. So, since then my groin has been sore and my right leg is still sore, along with the rest of my body that has been achy as well, just not as bad.

I went to the doctor to see what was going on with my leg and groin and he said that it was fine and that I probably just irritated the muscles from constantly having my legs spread and pushing around in that area while checking myself with a mirror.

Now, my tests came out negative and I was checked out by a doctor but I’m wondering why I’m still sore? Is it because I have been tense from stressing out and my muscles haven’t had a chance to heal or because I might have an STD and the tests were taken too early to be accurate? I also have a painless, skin colored bump in my labia majora. It doesn’t hurt when I touch it or push down on it. Its only one bump and from all my internet research it doesn’t fit the criteria of a herpes or HPV bump. It might not have anything to do with an STD, but might be a simple blister or perhaps an ingrown hair?

I’m extremely paranoid about catching STDs as you can tell from reading this. Do you think these muscle aches are a sign of HIV or another STD? I’m still freaking out. If you could please give me a serious answer I would appreciate it.

Thank you.
