Is this a Hippa violation

I have a player who had to go to the doctor, while there the doctor asked the student if they were taking anything. She told them glutamol, and water pills and for some reason said I told her to take it, but her mom had bought this. I'm under investigation with my school and the trainer who works for school and hospital wrote a statement about what she was taking and the school is using this against me(this occurred at doctor's office as the doctor asked her if she was taking anything). My question for the parent and me, is didn't the trainer, hospital, and school(since statement is in my file) commmited a hippa violation by releasing some of her personal medical info. This letter of what she said at doctor is now in my file, and is open to anyone to view.
