Is this a acid reflux issue?

Hi Doctors,

I am a 48 years old male.
Two months ago, I have a cold. After that, I totally lost my voice for a week. My family doctor gave me some antibiotics and it did not help.

Since then I had a hoarse voice. looks like in the morning, the voice is a little bit better. Later in the afternoon, it got worse. Other symptoms I have are: a little bit short of breath, tired, cough with phlegm,a little bit sore when breath in.

A throat specialist suggested this is a acid reflux issue.

Should I worried about the extend period hoarse voice and cough with phlegm?
