Q: Is there still a pregnancy possibility?

My period is 4 days late. I took a test last night and it was negative. But could I still be pregnant?

My period is regular, I am not stressed, and this month has been just another month except for the following.
6 days after I had unprotected sex I started spotting. A couple of days after that I had really bad lower abdomen pains randomly throughout the day. A week later my breasts started throbbing and being pretty tender, my nipples are getting darker right in the middle. My veins are popping out. My lower back hurts like no other. I am hungry all the time but whenever I think about the food in my fridge I get so turned off. It’s disgusting. Also I’ve been discharging. At this point if I was going to have my period I would have stopped discharging. And it’s not even a lot its like very little.
I also know that these symptoms are those of PMS as well. But like I said my periods are regular and back pains and tender breasts only happen while I’m ON my period. I usually get my period right when my sister does but hers is already over! I’m so anxious now because I don’t know what’s going on.
Two weeks ago I took two tests which were negative. And like I said I took another one last night at like 10 and it was also negative. So, I think being pregnant is out of the picture but then what else is wrong with me? Why do I feel so pregnant?

There is still a possibility you are pregnant. Although with those kind of symptoms, it sounds as if your hormone levels would be high enough to trigger a positive pregnancy test.

Pregnancy tests taken in the morning with your first morning urine are the most accurate. There is a higher concentration of HCG in the morning.

Take another test in a few days if you don't start your period. Or you could go see your doctor.

good luck

Thankss. But even if the test last night was negative there's still a possibility?Because I've already missed my period so it's not like I tested too early

If you do not have enough hormones in your system to create a positive pregnancy test, then yeah, you could still be pregnant and have a negative test.

If your urine was diluted by drinking a lot of water, pop, juice, etc in order to force yourself to go to the bathroom - then, yes, you could have a negative pregnancy test and still be pregnant.

Was the pregnancy test faulty? I don't know, do you? Did you read it in the correct time frame? Were you sure to saturate it for the right amount of time?

There are so many variables. The point is, if you don't have your period in a few days, take another test.
