Bleeding is not a symptom of pregnancy.

However, having unprotected sex is not smart. She WILL end up pregnant if you continue. Having a career plan is good, but having a career is better. Use condoms until your career is established. Protect her AND yourself from becoming parents before you're ready.

what about this though???
Implantation Bleeding
Implantation bleeding can cause you some confusion when you are unsure whether or not you are pregnant. It is not always easy to tell what is break through bleeding, or spotting between periods, and what is actually implantation spotting. The difference between period and implantation bleeding is that implantation bleeding occurs as a result of the embryo burrowing into your endometrium. However, because implantation spotting usually occurs right around the time you would be expecting your period, it is easy to mistake it for your period or as breakthrough bleeding.

You said she had a light period. Then she had bleeding after her period. That's not implantation bleeding - that's a period with spotting afterward.

Use condoms please.

I know a lot of people who have bled or spotted during their pregnancies. I would definitely have her take a test ASAP. Anytime there is unprotected sex there is a chance of pregnancy.

Why are you having a lot of unprotected sex? Are you two trying to get pregnant? Why aren't you using birth control to prevent this?

In no way was I intending to sound 'preachy'. This is something you already know. As well as already knowing the only answer to your question is to take a pregnancy test.

In the future, however, you and your girlfriend should look into getting birth control. Condoms and pills are much more inexpensive than the worry you are feeling right now - and they don't even compare to the expense of a child.

Good luck.

Good luck with everything, but seriously, like Ingi said, if you're not trying to get pregnant, get some protection. Knowing that you're safe makes the sex ten times better and you don't have to worry like this. Take care and keep us updated.

Symptoms can indicate something else other than pregnancy. She might be ill. She might not be getting enough to eat. Her blood sugar could be low. There are literally hundreds of other things dizziness could be attributed to.

Condoms and birth control pills are free or very cheap at Planned Parenthood. They are a confidential service, neither of your parents will know.

I'm glad her test is negative!
