Is redness of eye related to autoimmune disorders?

It's been almost a month since my right eye started showing some redness. Thinking it was probably an irritation to the weather or pet hair I started using antiseptic drops (bought after consulting a pharmacist). My eyes become okay for a few minutes after using it but would turn red in a couple of hours. Since yesterday there is irritation in the eye.

Earlier I have had constantly high CRP & ESR levels and one time positive & high ANA. Could these be related to the eye? how is this to be treated/prevented?

Also, does high levels of CRP & ESR caused by being overweight have symptoms similar to those of autoimmune diseases?
