my brother was diagnosed with papillomas in his throat when he was a baby. he is now 18 years old. he normally sees a doctor every 3 to 4 months to have it lasered out of his throat. lately he has been coughing up blood, and now he has to see the dr. every 4 weeks. the dr. said his condition is gerring worse. is papillomas deadly?, and are there any treatments for it?
I first off want to say I'm sorry for what you all are going through. My daughter has this condition so I know wat its like. She goes every 3 weeks for surgery. But sadly yes papillomas can be deadly if they spread to the lungs ie go untreated and block the air way. My daughter who is 4 just started to cough up as well and I and scared. Your brothers doctor should just check him and watch him. I pray for the best outcome for him. Hope this helped.
