I first off want to say I'm sorry for what you all are going through. My daughter has this condition so I know wat its like. She goes every 3 weeks for surgery. But sadly yes papillomas can be deadly if they spread to the lungs ie go untreated and block the air way. My daughter who is 4 just started to cough up as well and I and scared. Your brothers doctor should just check him and watch him. I pray for the best outcome for him. Hope this helped.
