my girlfriend and me had unprotected sex on her 3rd day of period i didnt cum inside her she took emergeny contraceptive pill within 3 hours of sex problem is i am concerned about the fact that her periods lasted for 10 days according to her periods didnt ever lasted for 10 days but this time it did one more problem is like she has got a small bulge inside her vaginal walls i am concerned over the fact that is my girlfriend pregnant we had sex on 2nd or 3rd of march and her periods started on 1st march or may be one day more or less when will be the perfect time to take a home pregnancy test and how else i can be sure that my girlfriend is not pregnant we are concerned cause we are just 19 years old and not ready for any such thing please look into the matter at earliest. eagerly waiting for a real guidance Thanking You Smile

With regarding to pregnancy, it is very unlikely, to occur if the intercourse occurs during the periods or 2-3 days after the periods.

For your information, in case, a woman has a 28 day cycle regularly, ovulation is expected to occur around the 14th day. Having unprotected sex during day 12 to day 16 of her cycle, also called Fertile period increases the chances of pregnancy. Similarly Day 16 is the most fertile period in a woman with a 30-day cycle, and day 18 is the most fertile for woman with a 32 day cycle.

Swelling within the vagina and persistent vaginal bleeding and history of intercourse - could be indicative of some form of vaginal trauma or contusion associated with sexual intercourse. Hence your girlfriend should immediately consult with her doctor for a examination and proper help.
